Hi! I’m Rachael, a historical costumer and seamstress based in North Carolina. After spending 30 years as a commercial photographer, my love for storytelling has naturally transferred from the camera to textiles.

I started sewing when I was just four years old and have always loved creating beautiful, unique keepsakes and clothing. There’s just something special about fabrics and their ability to transport you to another time and place. I also enjoy teaching about this subject to all ages and wearing these creations to historical events .
